WHO WE ARE

Ellen & Robert, two people who decided to move from Holland to Denmark.  In search for a life where we can live and work amongst our sheep and working dogs.

In Holland we had a small sheep farm, about 125 ewes, Texels for breeding and Skuddes for training the dogs. We offered teambuildings and sheepdog training at our little farm. About 25-30 people with their own working dogs would visit our place to train their dogs.

We breed working dogs, the “Roeldogs”. It started with a super special bitch called Sue. A bitch with a manual 😉 one to never forget. And we won’t as she has given her stamp. Especially in combination with the Glencregg lines. Glencregg came into our lives when we bought Glencregg Luck. I can honestly say this dog changed our lives, he even made us change countries 😉

In Gærum, Frederikshavn, we found “Roeldogbakken”. The most beautiful farm situated in the hills. A farm where we can welcome other people & dogs to experience this magical place……..

We were so lucky to meet great people, now friends and neighbours, who helped us feel at home.

It felt good that in our first year Luck and I qualified for the Danish Team, and Roeldog Staff and I became Danish Champions, shepherding is a way of life…..and our life is now in Denmark.
